Yay Daniel! Woman in Black highest grossing British horror film ever!
Maybe it’s down to some ghostly goings-on, but the Hammer horror, The Woman in Black, has broken the record for the UK’s highest grossing British horror film since records began 20 years ago.
“The spine tingling thriller, starring Harry Potter‘s Daniel Radcliffe, has stayed at the top of the UK Box Office chart for three weeks and has earned an estimated £14,598,813 from 457 screens.”

Adam Sandler and Twilight win big at the Razzies
The nominations have been announced for the annual Golden Raspberry Awards, with actor Adam Sandler receiving a record-breaking 11 nominations. He is up for worst actor AND worst actress. Ouch.

You’ve gotta love the Razzies and their mockery. Other movies in the running are New Year’s Eve, Twilight and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
